Effect
Peridot is a protective and cleansing stone. The stone helps you to detach yourself from the negative influences of others. It makes you independent and assertive and helps you to follow your own path. Peridot helps to acknowledge your own mistakes and to correct them, but also to let go of feelings of guilt, problems of conscience, obsessions and pent-up emotions (such as anger and jealousy). Peridot has an activating effect, stimulates the metabolism and has a strong detoxifying and stimulating effect on the liver. It has a positive effect on the heart, lungs, gallbladder, intestines, thymus, spleen and eyes. Peridot has a positive effect on bipolar disorders.
Care
Peridot should not be exposed to (bright) sunlight for too long as this can cause the stone to fade.
